Jeanne grows up without her parents in a commune. Everything changes for her when she falls in love with Jean and breaks the first rule of the commune: Love is forbidden! The commune becomes a cage, the utopia of a new society a reactionary system. Jeanne rebels against this and frees herself and the other children. Love is stronger than the system.
