"Flimmern" is an investigation into the behavior of young people in a socially closed group; it is the merciless reduction to each individual impulse, to the stimulus to irritate, to the discrepancy between emotion, intelligence and expression. The elaboration of a late afternoon, ordinary for the characters, results in a mutual confrontational frustration.
